Server Job Description
Our Servers are responsible for providing great service in the restaurant, during banquet events and golf tournaments.
Characteristics of the server include being a team player, having excellent attention to detail, having the ability to maintain a positive attitude, and being conversational and friendly with guests
All this is while maintaining the highest level of professionalism to achieve the high standards of service and quality
Server Responsibilities:
Provide immediate attention to all their guests.
Learn and describe daily specials to their guests.
Learn and describe menu items to their guests. Be able to answer questions about the menu(s) and offer suggestions when they are requested.
Takes food and beverage orders from guests. Closely monitor the kitchen so food is delivered to guests quickly upon completion.
Check on guests in appropriate increments, ensuring food and beverage is as expected. Replenishes items as needed.
Attend pre-shift meetings and taste tests, as required.
Looks for duties to complete during down time.
Ensure accuracy for check, and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
Learns and follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
Learns and follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
